Matching funds with interest (FRE)

Financing at Tanguay Furniture, excluding taxes and ecofees, is obtained exclusively with a Desjardins credit card or with a Tanguay-Desjardins private card. Accord D Desjardins financing for your online and in-store purchases. Subject to Accord D Desjardins credit approval.

The consumer now buys and pays in equal instalments with interest.

Subject to approval by the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec ("Desjardins"). All annual interest rates are subject to change. There are no enrolment or renewal fees associated with entering into this agreement. Purchase by equal instalments is subject to annual interest of 13.5%, calculated from the date of purchase, until paid in full. Equal monthly installments are calculated by dividing the amount financed, plus 13.5% annual interest, sales tax and EcoFee if applicable throughout the promotion period, by the number of months in the promotion; the monthly installment amount will appear on the monthly account statements sent to you upon purchase. On or before the due date indicated on the statement of account for a billing period, you must pay, in a single payment, the monthly instalment(s) for the period covered by the statement of account plus, if applicable, the other amounts included in the minimum payment due for the card, as provided for in the contract. If the monthly instalment thus due is not paid in full on its due date, annual interest of up to 19.9% will accrue on the amounts due and unpaid until they are paid in full.

The card's grace period is 21 days without interest, from the end of the billing period, to pay the full balance of the statement without being obliged to pay credit fees, except on cash advances. The minimum card payment is 2% to 5%, depending on the card, of the total of: the balance shown on the statement for the previous period; the credit charges applicable to purchases and monthly instalments outstanding at the end of that period; current purchases, cash advances and cheques for the period covered by the statement; and the credit charges on cash advances and cheques; plus : the monthly payment(s) for the period covered by the statement, the amount of deferred payment purchases due on the date of the statement, any overdue amounts and any other amounts provided for in the card contract. The annual interest rate may be applicable to a current purchase, an equal instalment purchase, a deferred payment purchase, a deferred equal instalment purchase or multiple equal instalment purchases.

Equal monthly payments without interest financing

On approved credit. An annual adhesion fee of $35, as set out in your Account Agreement, will be charged to your Account for all plan with a 12-month term or more. Financing is provided by Fairstone Financial Inc. and is subject to all the terms and conditions in your Retail Credit Agreement and Disclosure Statement and the promotional plan disclosure statement (collectively the “Account Agreement”).

Under this plan, credit charges will not accrue on the purchase during the promotional period if the required minimum payment is made each billing cycle during the promotional period when due. The purchase price is divided by the number of months in the promotional period to determine equal monthly payments to be made during the promotional period. If the minimum payment is not made when due or if a balance remains after the promotional period expires, credit charges will be assessed at the standard annual interest rate of 31.99%, as set out in your Account Agreement. The terms of this credit promotional plan will terminate if you default under your Account Agreement.

On termination or expiry of the promotional plan (or for purchases that are not part of the credit promotional plan), the annual standard credit rate of 31.99%, as set out in your Account Agreement, and the terms of the regular credit plan will apply to all outstanding balances owing. The grace period to make the minimum payment or pay the new balance is 21 days. The minimum payment due includes (i) the minimum payment under the applicable credit plan and, if applicable (ii) past due amounts, minimum payments on all other charges, minimum payments on credit insurance premiums and any credit limit overage amounts. Each Account Statement covers a billing period of approximately 30 days. See the Account Agreement for more information.

Deferred payment financing (DPF)

The consumer buys now and pays later without interest throughout the deferral period ("Pay later" financing).

Subject to approval by the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec ("Desjardins"). All annual interest rates are subject to change. The "Pay Later" offer allows you to pay off a deferred payment purchase with a credit card issued by Desjardins ("the card") that is interest-free for the period determined at the time of purchase. If the purchase is not paid in full when due, an annual interest rate of up to 21.9% will apply from the date the payment is due until the payment is paid in full. The payment is converted to the repayment method of a purchase in equal and consecutive instalments payable in 12 equal monthly instalments if the converted balance is less than $1,000, in 24 equal monthly instalments if the converted balance is equal to or greater than $1,000 and less than $3,000, and in 36 equal monthly instalments if the converted balance is equal to or greater than $3,000 Equal monthly payments are calculated by dividing the converted balance, plus interest of up to 21.9% for the entire period covered by the equal and consecutive installment plan and, if applicable, sales taxes and EcoFees, by the number of months in that period; the amount of the monthly payments will appear on the monthly account statements sent to you from the payment due date. On or before the due date indicated on the statement of account for a billing period, you must pay, in a single payment, the monthly instalment(s) for the period covered by the statement of account plus, if applicable, the other amounts included in the minimum payment due for the card, as provided for in the contract.

Equal Monthly Payments With Interest

On approved credit. Under this plan, a reduced rate credit charge of 13.99% will be charged on the purchase. The amount of the purchase, plus credit charges as calculated, is divided by the term to arrive at equal monthly payments which will be due each billing cycle on the due date, and constitute the minimum payment due each month. Interest is pre-calculated and included in each monthly payment. If the minimum payment is not made when due or if a balance remains after the promotional period expires, credit charges will be assessed at the standard annual credit rate of 31.99% as provided for as shown in your Retail Credit Agreement and Disclosure Statement. The grace period to make the minimum payment or pay the new balance is 21 days. The minimum payment due includes (i) the minimum payment under the applicable credit plan and, if applicable (ii) past due amounts, minimum payments on all other charges, minimum payments on credit insurance premiums and any credit limit overage amounts.
